About the Role

This isn’t a typical retail leadership role. As a Retail Manager, you will lead the Retail Operations team - owning the sales floor, customer experience and team performance in a fast-paced, high-volume environment. You will play a critical role in driving store performance through strong leadership, real-time decision making and hands-on execution. Reporting to the Store Manager, you will:

  • Lead, coach and develop a large front-end team
  • Drive sales performance through stock flow, merchandising and in-store execution
  • Take ownership of daily and weekly trading results
  • Partner with Store and District leadership to plan and deliver on key business priorities
  • Build capability across your team in a high-change, fast-paced environment

What Your Day Might Look Like

No two days are the same, but your focus will always be on leading your team and delivering results.

You might:

  • Review sales and performance data, adjusting the floor to maximise results
  • Lead and coach team members to lift service, productivity and standards
  • Manage high-volume stock flow and ensure the shop floor is fully optimised
  • Support onboarding and development of new team members
  • Work closely with your Store Manager to plan upcoming trading periods and initiatives

About You

You are a hands-on leader who thrives in fast-paced environments and knows how to get the best out of a team. You’ll bring:

  • Experience leading teams in retail, hospitality, logistics or other high-volume environments
  • The ability to make decisions, prioritise effectively and perform under pressure
  • Strong coaching skills and the confidence to lead from the front
  • A focus on outcomes—you take ownership of performance and drive results
  • A practical, adaptable leadership style suited to a dynamic and changing environment
